Drive systems and accessories
EURONOVA floodgates are characterised by drive systems with electric, pneumatic or hydraulic actuators, portable, petrol or battery powered.
EURONOVA offers the possibility of purchasing manual movement systems, manoeuvring columns with handwheels, telescopic rods and T-handle wrenches, all for easy operation from ground level.
Types of hydraulic gates
EURONOVA offers the following types of hydraulic gates:
Stainless steel guillotine wall gates (CP4, CP6, SG, SF Series)
Designed to ensure a perfect seal in both directions of flow (bidirectional), they are available in the following models:
CP4 / CP6 square section: made of AISI 304 or 316L stainless steel, they have a four-sided EPDM seal and a non-rising screw drive; maximum hydraulic load between 3m and 6m H2O;
SG/SF circular cross-section valves: made of AISI 304 or 316L stainless steel, they feature a full-circumferential EPDM seal and a non-rising screw drive; they can support hydraulic loads up to 10 m. Wall or flange mounting.
Manual and lightweight gates (MG, KHARO, KHSARO Series)
Versatile solutions, ideal for applications requiring simple and rapid operation. They are available in the following series:
MG: square-section stainless steel solutions with three-sided sealing ; manual operation via an open-close handle;
KHARO / KHSARO: These valves feature a HDPE back panel and an AISI 316L stainless steel frame/sash. They have a one-way seal and are ideal for hydraulic loads up to 1 meter. While the KHARO series has a rising opening handle, the KHSARO uses a non-rising screw.
Highly tight HDPE gates (KSARO Series)
The HDPE floodgates combine the lightness of polyethylene and the strength of AISI 316L stainless steel.
They offer one two-way seal up to a hydraulic load of 5 meters. Models with a diameter greater than 800 have counterthrust wedges to ensure maximum adhesion and sealing of the EPDM gasket. Variants with a square hole are available.
High-tightness HDPE sluice gates for in-line application (KLSAR Series)
The HDPE floodgates combine the lightness of polyethylene and the strength of AISI 316L stainless steel.
They offer a bidirectional seal up to a hydraulic load of 10 meters . In-line application on the pipeline with coupling through MSC reinforced coupling joints or through a UNI PN10 flange.
Rectangular section steel sluice gates
Le rectangular section steel sluice gates These are custom-designed devices for intercepting, regulating, and isolating hydraulic flow in canals, ducts, tanks, and civil engineering works. Featuring a robust structure and rigid perimeter frame, they ensure high hydraulic tightness, mechanical strength, and long life even under harsh operating conditions.
Available in AISI 304/316 stainless steel or hot-dip galvanized carbon steel. Manual or automatic operation with gear reducer. Suitable for wall, duct, or in-line installation on pipes.
Solutions fully customizable for dimensions and hydraulic loads. Each gate is designed based on the specific parameters of the project (hydraulic head, pressure, operating frequency, environmental conditions), ensuring optimal performance and compliance with current regulations.
Simple open-close PE sluice gates
Flow-control gates for in-line or wall-mounted installation. The stainless steel blade, operated by a handle, seals in one direction of flow for hydraulic loads up to 1 meter.
Possibility of application on pipes of different diameters through MDC coupling joints.
Steel weir gates (spillway and impeller)
The spillways regulate the water level and flow rate with three-sided sealing. They can be installed on walls or channels and their opening can be adjusted through controlled movement.
Fan gates are designed to regulate the water level upstream in canals. They can be operated manually, with pistons, actuators, or chain winches.
Available in AISI 304/316 stainless steel or hot-dip galvanized carbon steel.
Aluminum and steel beams and flood barriers
They are removable protection systems designed to prevent the entry of water in the event of floods, heavy rains or sudden inundations.
Custom-made, usually in aluminum or steel with high-tightness gaskets, they are installed on side guides attached to doorways, windows, driveways, or technical openings. The modular structure allows for quick manual assembly and perfect adaptation to the size of the opening.
