DESCRIPTION
Pipelines passing through concrete walls, manholes, swimming pools, or slabs are among the most critical points for water infiltration. The PIPPO wall collar is a special sealing element specifically designed to ensure perfect waterproofing directly inside concrete structures, preventing any water from seeping through the pipe's exterior walls.
It can be successfully installed on any type of smooth pipe (PVC, PE, steel, etc.) and in any geometric orientation, for both vertical and horizontal penetrations. Made of high-quality rubber, it boasts excellent structural mechanical characteristics, including a tensile strength of 9,5 N/mm² and a 500% elongation at break. It has a Shore A hardness of 45° ±5. Designed to operate in harsh environmental conditions, it withstands continuous operating temperatures ranging from a minimum of -40°C to a maximum of +80°C. The system ensures extraordinary hydraulic performance, guaranteeing a watertight seal tested up to 5 bar for pipes from DN 32 to DN 315 mm, and up to 4 bar for diameters from DN 355 mm to over DN 1400 mm. All models are supplied complete with sturdy stainless steel clamps to ensure perfect mechanical anchoring to the pipe before casting.
