DESCRIPTION

When a leak or structural failure occurs on a pipeline, reducing system downtime is a top priority. The WSG repair band is the definitive, ultra-fast, and cost-effective system designed to restore and protect water networks or industrial facilities, whether in low-pressure or gravity systems.
The secret to its effectiveness lies in the technology based on felt pre-soaked with special resins at the factory. The band arrives on site sealed and ready for use: a simple immersion in water activates the hardening process, which restores the pipe's perfect functionality in just a few minutes. It can be successfully applied to almost all existing pipes, including steel, concrete, cast iron, PVC, stoneware, fiberglass, copper, and asbestos cement (only unsuitable material: polyethylene and similar elastic materials). It allows for stable and long-lasting structural repairs without cutting the pipe, eliminating the delicate problem of worker exposure to harmful dust. It doesn't matter whether the surface being treated is smooth, curved, or irregular. The band molds perfectly around sockets, branches, cross joints, and bends, acting both as a hydraulic sealant and as a reinforcement for corroded or weakened pipes. The system is extremely lightweight and easy to carry by hand, making it ideal for overhead lines or inaccessible areas. Application is so intuitive that it doesn't require any specific training or the use of special construction site tools.
Once the band is immersed in water, the operator has 3 to 5 minutes to wrap, shape, and stretch the felt around the leak. The chemical process is completed quickly. In just 30 minutes, the resin reaches its maximum structural hardness, allowing for rapid repair or re-pressurization of the pipeline.
