DESCRIPTION:
Waterproofing annular spaces in wall penetrations requires dynamic technology, capable of adapting to both large industrial ducts and small service openings. Our GP Series modular mesh wall joints represent the most advanced and high-performance system on the market for quickly and permanently sealing any type of smooth duct (PVC, HDPE, steel, etc.) passing through walls, floors, or underground structures. Thanks to its flexible chain structure composed of modular geometric elements, the GP system guarantees excellent sealing performance.
By alternately tightening the bolts with a torque wrench, the plates squeeze the links, creating a geometric expansion of the rubber. The rubber compresses into a sandwich, hermetically sealing every cavity. Designed to provide optimal barrier effectiveness not only against water and air, but also against radon gas infiltration. The compound guarantees excellent stability against the effects of UV rays and ozone, maintaining elasticity even in the presence of strong temperature variations. The joint is structured and certified to pass stringent tests up to a 50-meter water column (5 bar). It covers couplings on pipes from DN 50 mm to DN 3000 mm with maximum precision.
To respond with chemical and structural precision to the transported fluid or to the environmental context, the GP modular chain can be configured in 3 material variants:
– STANDARD version: Ideal for generic applications in civil, water and sewerage systems.
– HYDROCARBONS version: Made with special elastomers resistant to the degrading action of oils, fuels, solvents and aggressive chemical agents present in the subsoil.
– DRINKABLE version: Certified mixture suitable for contact with food liquids and water intended for human consumption.
In all versions, compression is exerted by sturdy polyamide plates, while all bolts and tightening elements are made strictly from marine grade AISI 316 stainless steel.
